1 100% Voluntary Participation

Welcome to SelfieCompetition.in. By accessing our platform, registering an account, or uploading a photograph, you explicitly agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

Participation in any contest hosted on SelfieCompetition.in is strictly and entirely voluntary. We do not force, coerce, or mandate anyone to participate, upload selfies, or share links. You are joining this platform of your own free will, for entertainment purposes, and for the opportunity to win prizes based on community voting.

If at any point you do not agree with our terms, privacy policies, or how the competition is run, you hold the absolute right to delete your account, remove your photo, and stop using our services immediately without any penalty.

2 Photo Privacy & Data Protection

We understand that your photographs are deeply personal. We want to be absolutely clear about how we handle the media you upload to our servers:

• No Personal Use: The administrators, founders, and staff of SelfieCompetition.in will never use your uploaded selfies for their personal use, portfolios, or any undocumented purposes.
• No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, rent, lease, or distribute your photographs to any third-party marketing agencies, data brokers, advertisers, or external entities. Your face is your identity, and we protect it strictly.
• Limited License: By uploading a photo, you grant us a temporary, limited license solely to display your photo on our Leaderboard and Category pages for the active duration of the specific contest cycle you entered.

3 The Permanent Deletion Guarantee

Unlike social media platforms that hold onto your data forever, we believe in digital minimalism and absolute user security.

Post-Contest Deletion: The moment a 15-day contest cycle officially concludes, our system is programmed to permanently and irreversibly delete all non-winning selfies from our active servers, databases, and backup drives. Your photos do not linger on the internet through our website.

The Single Exception: Contest Winners

The ONLY exception to our permanent deletion rule applies to the official Winners of the contest. To maintain absolute transparency, prove the legitimacy of the competition, and build trust among our user base, the selfies of the winners (who receive the ₹500 cash prize) will be permanently retained and displayed on our "Winners" page. By participating, you agree that if you win, your photo and first name will be used to showcase the authenticity of our platform.

4 Eligibility & Content Guidelines

To ensure a safe and family-friendly environment, all participants must adhere to the following rules:

• You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a legal guardian to participate.
• The selfie uploaded must be your own original photograph. You cannot upload pictures of celebrities, other individuals without their consent, or copyrighted material from the internet.
• Zero Tolerance for Inappropriate Content: Any photograph containing nudity, violence, hate speech, illegal acts, or offensive material will be immediately deleted, and the user's IP address will be permanently banned from the platform.

5 Voting Integrity & Anti-Cheat

We pride ourselves on hosting a fair competition. Our system tracks voting patterns, IP addresses, and device fingerprints to ensure fairness.

Any attempt to manipulate the leaderboard using bots, automated scripts, VPNs, proxy servers, or paid voting farms is strictly prohibited. If our security algorithms detect unnatural voting behavior on your entry, your selfie will be disqualified, your votes will be reset to zero, and your account may be suspended without prior notice.

6 Prize Claiming Process

At the end of each contest cycle, the participant with the highest number of legitimate, verified votes will be declared the winner. The prize amount (₹500) will be transferred directly to the winner via UPI, Google Pay, PhonePe, or Paytm.

Winners will be contacted via their registered email address. If a winner fails to respond and claim their prize within 72 hours of the announcement, the prize will be forfeited, and the platform reserves the right to pass the reward to the runner-up.

7 Limitation of Liability

SelfieCompetition.in is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure from malicious cyber-attacks. We hold no liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, loss of data, or disputes between users. You participate entirely at your own risk.
